Initial situation

• Market leading company with strong organic and inorganic growth
• Fast changing market and product requirements
• Company going through significant transformation
• Limited change management capabilities and no change project setup
• Strong silo mentality and a need for stronger employee accountability
• Lack of development opportunities
• Succession planning and staffing for professionals and key positions very challenging

Procedure and results

• Implemented trainings and coaching supporting managers and employees affected by the transformation
• Conducted a companywide skill demand analysis including interviewing team leaders and managers
• Designed and implemented a learning and reskilling concept (35 trainings)
• Established an internal placement program and procedure
• Developed a Talent Scout Network concept and appointed key managers as Talent Scouts to identify and place internal resources together with HR
• Designed and implemented an internal rotation program leading to over 60 candidates joining the program
• Development of an Assignment Policy supporting cross-country rotations
